November 2nd

The San Francisco World Can't Wait demostration on Nov. 2nd went fairly well. It was exciting to hear Cindy Sheehan talk at the Civic Center before the march. Her voice is very familiar at this point.

There were about enough people to fill up a block and a half when we hit the street. It felt very unified and there were a lot of people waving from windows on Market St. Unfortunately, there was an incident when one of the protesters lit the entrance to the SF chronicle on fire. Somebody needs to explain to the anarchist kids that non-violent protests get a bad rap from this kind of stuff. All in all it was a good experience and nice to speak out about the current administration.
